Changed from ammo cans...
I found a great deal on Pelicans. I did the small top loaders. I am looking for ideas to put these cases on that elderly bike. Anyone have any ideas??

Did you install the top box easy to remove (like the Givi)? I did see you mention that you used a bread board for mounting. I am to a point (with a new motorcycle) that I want to put some inexpensive luggage on it. I kind of want the top box to be easy to remove. I really do like the way your instal...

My hearing is pretty screwed already.
I did stupid things like remain in loud music environments and shoot without hearing protection. I do use plugs to keep the wind noise down but, I also listen to music while I am riding. With the slightly modified pipes on the HD, I have to increase the volume of the music almost to the point where ...

Just got 1976 XL350 and want to dress it
I just bought a 1976 Honda XL350 and I would like to put luggage on it. I am thinking ammo cans and a cheap Tupperware type top box. Any suggestions? I will get some pics over here soon.

Last test ride I took
I left my license and key for my Jeep with the owner of the motorcycle. Most of the Craigslist ads say you have to have the cash in hand and a license with an endorsement. I am pretty sure that is the way I would do it. You could also make up a release of liability form (or steal one from a local de...

Re: That is probably why...
so many of my friends have more than one motorcycle in their garage. Wished I could afford to do that. Sell the car. I do have two cages. I am also used to having two bikes. Here is the real prob. I have been geared up and gotten all the way out to the bike and my gut tells me that today is not a g...

Some may require more maintenance on your part.
For a bigger part older Japanese motorcycles need oil change, chain adjustment/lube and new tires. Otherwise; they are gas and go for most of a season.

I loved my XB9.
My Buell XB9 was great fun. I did a couple of long trips and I did hurt. It was a lot of fun for short 200-300 mile trips. I did need to put my feet down about every 75 miles. I now have a highway bike in my garage 1984 HD FXRS (Superglide). I am looking into a dual purpose for around town. There is...

I have said this on another thread.
The classes will be booked way out pretty soon. Sign up for the first available class and show up the first day of the next class they are giving. If you let the instructor know you are there and someone doesn't show up by the end of the first video they will probably put you into that class so that...
