Re: Diesel Hydraulic drive M/C

Funny, ecologically correct, and certainly very easy to ride. In any case, a magnificent delirious stylistic composition!

Re: What did you do today...

Thank you Donna. I'm safe in my little country. But we were afraid about my young son. He was drinking with a friend in a "café" near the Bataclan when the attack started... Doug, be sure we know the pain is the same all around the world, whatever is our color or nationality. But there, it was so cl...

Re: Any good helmet reviews & recommendation?

I wear a SchubertJ1 in summer. This jet possesses a wide visor and an removable arch of safety in front of the chin. Cheeks are also very widely protected. For the bad seasons, a full-face Scorpion 1000 Air, with pump of inflating cheeks to adjust it at best. Very comfortable, in spite of an a littl...

Re: Just wondering about average age and careers of you ride

I'm 64, riding for 7/8 years (presently a HD Dyna), former civil servant for a French government agency. One wheelie with the 750 GSX-R Suzuki  of a buddy. Enough to be sure It was not the good way for me to become an old rider. :whatdidimiss:

Re: What did you do today...

Sorry, Hyperr! Don't read that. I was gardening this afternoon. Planted garden peas, green beans, planted out lettuce, tomatoes, pumpkins, capsicum. Spring in France is very hot and dry since the first week in April. It's quite unnecessary to mow the lawn... Some pics of my garden this afternoon htt...

Re: Post your ride!

My 2008 (105th anniversary) HD Dyna FXDC. Mechanic is stock. A Mustang seat for my wife's butt, fog lights and Kuryakin footpegs, HD saddlebags and sissy bar with a little luggage rack : that's all I added or replaced.

No hope to see this thick cold fog vanish for the first ride of the year... Just cleaned the bike and started it for some go-and-back in my garden... :(

So far from Georgia, I share the pain and sorrow you have to deal with. Your beloved Julie will be still alive, so longer you and Harley will remind her and the happy life I'm sure you've got with her.

Re: What did you do today...

I was in Paris last Sunday to see a marvellous dance show, "Anna Karenina" by the Eifman Ballet Theatre of St Petersburg. Adapted from Lev Tolstoï, a dark story of love and death, with great performers. Sorry, but I'm unable to share my feelings in English. See short cuts below : http://www.theatrec...

Re: What did you do today...

Morning : a short ride with the Nightster (100 km)

Afternoon: I tried to mow the lawn, or, more exactly, the innumerable varieties of grass and unknown plants invading my garden.

A delightful sunny September day with 23°C.

360 km under a non-stop heavy rain. Half on my Dyna , half on my son's 1200 Nighster. My Dyna is more comfortable, but the Sporster is more.. how can I say?...sporty...?
