Re: A or B: Pick one!
I gotta skip back one post. I like living further away and having a commute. The major savings in housing cost where I live more than makes it worth while. Its about half the cost compared to where I work. The other important factor Is it give me time in the morning and after work to have a few mome...

Re: Question about brakes
The problem was not too much gas, it was too little. If he had given it gas like he meant it there would have been wheel spin and he would have been just fine.......... Learning to balance braking is one very important part of riding. If you cannot balance breaking its going to cause you ...

Re: Who Builds the best bikes?
Each one has something they do better than the others. Each manufacture builds their machines to meet different user needs and preferences. The real question is "what is the best bike for you?"

Re: Looking for Jacket in Hot, Cold and rainy conditions
Mesh should be just fine then. Keep in mind that beyond repelling some rain the liner is very thin in anything Ive seen at any store, as well as my own gear. The liner in my speed and strength jacket doesn't really feel any warmer on its own but put a light shirt under it and you are good to go. Min...

Re: Looking for Jacket in Hot, Cold and rainy conditions
From the gear I have had you are not going to find something that does hot and cold well. I went with a Joe rocket model with removable panels and zip open vents in the arms and back. This jacket works great year round for me but you have to realize it will be hot in the summer if your not moving en...

Re: Can someone tell me what kind of motorcycle this is??
This is not gospel but it will point you in the right direction I hope. It should be a v65 based off of the exhaust and the seat. Around me the v45s are not too hard to find but the v65 is more rare and demands a higher price. If it is a v65 its a BEAST they are very powerful and with a little suspe...

Re: 2011 Ride to the Mountains~~~Crash~~~
Very positive perspective. I still fight with getting fixated on surprises such as gravel or sand. The scariest things Ive had recently was coming around a corner in the mountains in Amish country with very rough roads already. I was only doing about 40mph but that was more than I should have been. ...

Re: EPA Certified Pipes ONLY in New Hampshire? New Law Attem
That was in reference to fuel injected engines with programming for the restriction of the catalytic converters. once removed the fuel mapping changes. On older vehicles the exhaust never reaches temp so the O2 sensors will operate properly. This condition causes a lot of wasted fuel. Fuel efficienc...
