Nice - it's funny, I had never heard of the Ural's until this weekend and then went to a BBQ yesterday after finding them here......apparently there are very few around here but it came up in discussion. The brother of one of the other folks at the party has two and offered a meeting to see one/both...

Speaking as someone who took the advice to go with the bigger bike for a first.....I would say go for either the Ninja 250 (you will probably NOT outgrow it, ever, but you likely will want to try something different when you are more experienced) or the 500.
