I'm pumped for EBR. I wish I could afford to support his new venture. I was a HUGE fan of Buell, and hope to pick up an XB12 next season off the Craigslist.

The XL883L has more suspension travel than the previous low. The center of gravity is lower, the wheels are not as tall. It's a low bike that isn't going to destroy your kidneys.

Seems Wendell is a numbers guy. There are many changes happening in the motor company over the last year, and many more coming...

Excellent point. It is hard to leave the emotions at the door sometimes. Buell has been struggling for years, although the product is good, it was not cracking the desired markets as they hoped. In time, I'm sure we will see another form of these motorcycles hitting the streets.

The video posted on the Buell website is heartbreaking. Erik put his heart and soul into his bikes, and it shows with that video.

Food for thought: What if a few select models from the Buell lineup, begin appearing mid year, under the HD brand? Could happen....

Its sad to see them go but hopefully another American Co. with the foresight for sport bikes and will arise from the ashes. Hopefully there will be another American Sport bike and a few less ones from China and other contries in that general area of the world. Just in case you didn't know of them.....

Wonder if they will be nice discounts to purchase a Buell bikes to clear out inventory or will the price be hiked as they are now a collectors item? Buell's have already been discounted quite heavily if I'm not mistaken. I'm sure the Motor Company will increase the dealer hold back at some point. I...
