We ran this 1460 Sportster at the drags in Ashcroft. It pulled a 12.0 @ 110 mph. Best run of the year!

Here is how it works. Research a shop that likes to race. Try to get a job there doing whatever you can. (Preferably in the shop.) Work your a$$ off for them and volunteer at the track for them. Git er done! Sam.

I have about 70,000km (42,00 miles) on the back wheel and about 69,793 on the front wheel, same bike. It's a 91 sporty. The 1460 motor only has about 5000 km on it.

Thanks, I got it. The problem was the plug caps. New caps, no problemo!

I am trying to diagnose a tough start for a buddy with a 97 F650. This is wierd but here is the story. The bike came in under its own power with the complaint of "hard starting." This was in summer temps. I fiddled with the choke adjustment a bit and away he went. He put some gas in it and...

Can't wait till this is done. I should be able to finish it this winter. That is a 90 hp Pan by S&S. I know this is a Harley column but there is not one bolt of Harley in this.
