We ran this 1460 Sportster at the drags in Ashcroft. It pulled a 12.0 @ 110 mph. Best run of the year!
Here is a shot of me at the "Bike Wars" event in Terrace, BC.

Re: Racing Jobs
Here is how it works. Research a shop that likes to race. Try to get a job there doing whatever you can. (Preferably in the shop.) Work your a$$ off for them and volunteer at the track for them. Git er done! Sam.
See you at the Ashcroft, BC CMDRA drags on July 17/18. We're gonna Git er done!

Front or rear?
I have had one front tire blow and several back tires. All were in decent shape at the time. The front let go in a downhill corner doing about 70mph. It stood up in front of an oncoming motorhome. I could see his eyes were bigger than my headlight but he never backed off. I just "horsed" i...

Back wheel or front?
I have about 70,000km (42,00 miles) on the back wheel and about 69,793 on the front wheel, same bike. It's a 91 sporty. The 1460 motor only has about 5000 km on it.

Help, 97 F650 Hard/no start?
I am trying to diagnose a tough start for a buddy with a 97 F650. This is wierd but here is the story. The bike came in under its own power with the complaint of "hard starting." This was in summer temps. I fiddled with the choke adjustment a bit and away he went. He put some gas in it and...
