man, tomorrow my appointment with the dealer is gonna cost me an arm & leg, just for a diagnostic to find out why the meters don't work, and who knows what other damages will show up on this bike. crossing my fingers

You recommended to refer to the service manual for checking the speedo and odo meter, I have downloaded a version online, do you happen to know that if there is voltage flow to the meter which shows on the panel cluster cuz it stays at "0MPH" and able to see the total milage and trip a and trip ...

If you pay more attention to the front wheel, you can see a black tied down to the wheel to create a tension to hold the front end of the bike low. But the speedo stays at 0mph no matter how fast i go and also the milage won't add up as well.. weird

if you see the image 0011 you can see that the front shock bar has been tied down to keep the bike front riding low

Hey Rookie,

Thanks for your advices they are very useful, but it is more complicated than what you had described,

I had followed your procedure and I was able to bring the Tacho meter, singal lights etc back to life, (u r genius) but the MPH and odometer, speepdomter just ignores me no matter what ...
