Yea...I know I do that. I started with a 07 Yahama Vino 125 scooter. It was a no-brainer...got my motorcycle endorsement with it. Decided to trade up and learn to shift. Thanks Pete. The chiropractor told me to do the same thing, holding the palms of my hands together at right angles. She said a person with carpel tunnel can't do that for even a couple of seconds without pain. I don't have that issue. I will go for one more session today so she can loosen the muscle...

I've just reached 500 miles on my VStar 250. I absolutely love the bike, but find my right hand gets numb and tingly after riding for a while.
