Thanks to all for the info. :kicking: 0000# steel wool worked real good but rust went a little to deep in some spots now I have to find some one to rechrome .Will post some pics soon. also got lucky and found some one who has parts I need on ebay that makes me real happy since I'm finding out its a ...

what is the best thing to remove rust off of chrome
have my first restore project and I am starting by cleaning all the parts first. I have surface rust on the spoked rims what can I use that wont wreck the chrome to bad

new-b to this site thought Id join to get info on restoring my first basket case 1973 harley davidson 125cc AMA bought it to restore with my 14 year old son.I been riding for about 25 years right now I have a 07 ultra classic.
