You said you can push start it? The neutral switch is located on the shift mechanism inside the left side case. check the wires going into the clutch lever.

not sure we are still on topic here but, how bout just take the tank off and turn it upside-down and pour the gas out? then, leave the cap off with it upsidedown to dry out for a while? just a thought.

ok i checked it out..
91 - 97 GSX600's (katana) all have the same engine N705-XXX .. i'd shoot right in the middle.. the vacuum and wiring diagrams should all be similar.. good luck.

nope, that is the ICM (ignition control module) .. you might be able to find one on ebay.

That will only help if you have the VIN. The engine number only has info relative to the engine and not the bike it was fitted to. you might stuff some paper towels around the crankcase to keep the circlip from dopping down in there.
