I used to commute, and that was about 100 miles a day, but around the time I turned 60 I started to cut back down a bit, so now it is usually in the 20 to 50 mile range in town and country, but on a good day I may go for 2 rides, and every once in a while I still do 100+ miles.

My first bike was used, a less than year old Yamaha 250 YDS3 250, best investment I ever made since it really taught me how to ride and get all the power and handling out of it without being too dangerous. And yes, I dropped it! Before that I had been borrowing friends old BSA C-10 250 and a BSA 125 ...

Looks like I made the 6% group at age 66 1/2+, and I feel like it too, only thing that helps is getting on the bike and riding, - but not too far!. Been riding solo since 1962, rode with my parents since around 1948 wearing a leather helmet.
