why do you say the buell will age better? when I posted this, I had basically decided on the Kawasaki... and wanted to make sure i made the right decision. Since then, I have been sitting and thinking...and I REALLY like the buell. I think its time to see who will give me more incentive at each deal...

i had a KLR and hated it. Too heavy and unreliable. the XT225 is a bit underpowered. In my opinion, the Suzuki DRZ 400s is the best for the money, and i have had mine for more than a year, and it just keeps going strong with close to 8000 miles mostly off road, and only oil changes pretty much. we do it all the time.... wears out tires damn quick tho. just gotta be careful, and get used to riding on pavement. and yes, we are well aware of the drivetrain stress.

I got a suzuki gel seat for my bike, and I hate it. You should look into Corbin seats. I love those.
