Re: Help!!

The fastest way to get in touch with your local riding clubs will likely be Facebook. There are hundreds of regionally specific motorcycle groups to be found, and you're sure to find someone in those circles who would jump at this chance. And while you're there, you should check out the TMW presence...

Re: Iron 883 VS Vulcan ???

Sam, I can't speak to the exact tank bag you're using, but we reviewed a tail bag from Viking Bags earlier this year. I'd expect the quality to be fairly uniform across their line. The URLs below are for the video and article. Article: https://www.totalmotorcycle.com/reviews/viking-sport-tail-bag Vi...

Re: New Ol Lady needs advice

The only person you should confront about this is your husband. If this isn't okay with you, you need to communicate that. If the relationship can't survive your right for respect, then that's a whole different issue. I don't think it's fair to assume the girl on the bike did anything wrong or had a...

Re: Returning after a few years away...

Madjak, good to see you back! The forums have been kinda slow but just recently there seems to be an uptick, and that's exciting.

So which bike are you most excited to revive, the ST or the MT-01?

Re: 1999 Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 Nomad mileage question

Thanks for the question Scott! 70k is a little steep for most any bike, but a big tourer like the Nomad is a solid, dependable bike if it's been well cared for. It's almost a "Catch 22", if it's been ridden that may miles it almost HAS to have been well taken care of. That said, prices should be pre...

Re: Good beginner motorcycle ?

Vulcan S 650 is another strong contender in this category. They use the same 650cc parallel twin motor as in the NInja 650, so they have a lot more power than your typical 650 cruiser. Not sure if they meet the licensing requirement for horsepower but I'd be surprised if they didn't.

Re: 2009 Suzuki GS500F Help

Tanner,

I would check the Bike Boneyard, in MIssoula, Montana. I found a fairing for an older Ninja there years ago.
Just Google "bike boneyard missoula" and you'll find them. Great people to work with, or at least they were three years ago.

Re: The Blog of Blues

So jealous!
I've got a Nikon D50 (D100?) with a 1.5f lens, but I think something's wrong with it. I can't get a clear picture in the EVF and every shot I take with it comes out blurry.

Re: I'm new here. Hi!

Billy, So glad to meet you, and welcome to TMW! You've come to the right place. To jump right in, I think you'll find as long as you're responsible and have some common sense, your 1400cc Intruder wont be unmanageable. It's certainly a little more power than we tend to recommend for beginning riders...

Re: New Here - Need Advice/Guidance

My inclination would be to contact the Maine DMV and see what succor they can offer. Tell them you purchased the vehicle in Maine but are trying to title it in NYC.

Welcome to TMW, we're glad to have you!

My wife and I rode the Z900 at AIMExpo a couple years back and really enjoyed it, how do you like your 650?

Also, huge fan of the Boulevard.

Re: Need Advice on First Bike Purchase - 2008 Honda Nighthawk 250

Honda Nighthawk 250 is a great starter bike, price sounds a little steep to me though. Is that just the asking price or does that include dealer fees? At $2750 there's just a TON of options. My local classifieds has dozens of newish (2010 - 2015) Ninjas or CBs for sale in that price range. I'd hold ...

Pack Some Junk In Your Trunk - Sport Tail Bag by Viking Bags

Our most recent review is live on the main page! We spent a few weeks with the Sport Tail Bag by Viking Bags. We crammed some stuff in it, we turned our garden hose on it, we strapped it to three different bikes and we had a lot to say about each. Make sure to check it out and watch the YouTube vide...
