Thanks LittleRedRider!

However, I finally found the website I was looking for. It is www.cyclenews.com. The website doesn't look very pretty, but the content is excellent and covers all racing, and motorcycle industry news.

Need a good website for general MC racing new

Does anyone know of a website that has the latest motorcycle racing news? Specifically, news about which teams riders are going to be with next year, and information/rumors about manufacturer racing plans. (ie. BMW and MV Agusta joining World Superbike) I'm looking for one website that covers all ma...

I bought my Kawi brand new from the dealer four years ago and didn't get the extended warranty. I'm glad I didn't, because I haven't had a single thing wrong with the bike. That doesn't mean you won't, but these bikes are very reliable if you don't purposely beat the crap out of them and perform som...

Re: sick MotoGP vid

The highside crash near the beginning of the film is nuts! That's not so much a highside or lowside as a stoppie gone wrong. I think I see a puff of smoke from the front tire before it warps, and the rear end seems to be way up off the ground before the front tire warps as well. Looks like the ride...

My brother-in-law has this sportvue heads up display. Based on his experiences with it and my own impressions, the following review article is spot on. --> http://www.bikeland.org/articles/sportvuetest.pdf

I would suggest reading it before you decide to purchase.

I don't know about that Concours anymore. I sure am happy with my "old" ZX-6E as my sport tourer. I recently got back from a 2300 mile five-day trip, and was amazed how suited my motorcycle is for multiple 450+ mile days. My only complaint is having to lube the chain. I started thinking about upgrad...

If you aren't planning on being on the interstate all the time, get the Ninja 250. For riding around on city streets and on highways, it would be much more fun (and capable) to ride than a larger bike. And don't worry if you need to ride on the interstate, the Ninja will handle it just fine, even fo...

I am running donlups, I have 12,000 on them and hope for another 12,000 this year. I will add that they are on a cruiser and I am a very easy ryder. If you're going for 24k on a set of tires, I hope your health insurance is paid up. From a safety standpoint, 14k is pushing it. You can't make genera...

Time to replace my original tires, Need some help

Well, my odometer says I put over 12,000 miles on the Bridgestone Battlax BT-50R that my bike came with. And according to the wear indicators on the tires, it's time to replace them. I just got a catelog in the mail today from Motosport.com. Does anyone have any experience buying from them? Their pr...

I just had my taxes done. The IRS wants the exact amount of money that my bike is worth, which I don't otherwise have. I may be joining in your sorrow soon unless I can come up with another plan. :(
You made the right decision, as difficult as it might have been.

Yeah, I'm going to return my meter and get the digital one that was only $5 more. I think the VR might be bad because first of all, they are notorious for overheating and failing on this bike. And second of all, when they do go bad they tend to ruin the battery, and I just had to replace the battery...

Need help testing a voltage regulator

I have a Honda VTR that commonly has the voltage regulator fail. I'm trying to follow the instructions in the service manual and needs some serious help. Plus I have no idea how to read the new voltmeter I just bought. This is what the service manual says to to: http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l31...

Yeah, they do use it. There was a part about it on "Superbikes". And you can't miss the fact that it's a highway patrol when it's lights are flashing.
