evolution of my zrx1100

Well, it's been some year. Although i've only ridden 4500 miles since i bought this bike, you'll see it is no longer the same bike. In a few more days it will change one more time when i add a holeshot header system to my yoshimura bolt-on. The list of mods i've done, while riding this bike as much ...

zrx1100. 16t front, 47t rear sprockets.

I needed a new chain and my rear sprocket was badly worn....from being a cheap replacement with a cheap chain from some past owner. LS2 FT2 helmet.

I recently bought one of these in a basic color for only 89.95 online. I am really pleased with the features, noise level, and fit. it is currently over 200 dollars on amazon, so this deal at competition accessories is quite good. Google will easily pull up reviews and availability. it comes in many...

Dunlop qualifier series tires.

Just a quick note to say i really like my new tires. Do to size availability and the timing of my purchase, i put a qualifier on the front and a qualifier 2 on the back, to replace a wrong sized rear metzeler. The combination transformed the bike totally. The handling is amazing, ride quality improv...

Re: GSX R750 vs Yamaha R6 vs Ducati monster.Suggestions to help me decide?

I am 5'7" and ride a zrx1100. The seat on it is lower than those three you have to choose from. I had to cut the seat cushion and lower the front 10mm via the triple trees to feel comfortable at traffic lights, especially on uneven street surfaces. Depending on your inseam, that might be a cons...

Re: Valve clearance checks and buying a used bike...

Yep....wetsanding is really the key. Finding a paint in a rattle can that behaves like real paint can be tricky too. The old rules of laquer and enamel will always apply. The rustoleum is an interesting animal, being an alkyd enamel vs acrylic. This gives it more gas resistance right out of a spray ...

okay, i had to drag it out into the overcast natural light. It doesn't need much , but bright sun is even nicer! enjoy.
