Re: Do you warm up the motorcycle or just turn the key and go?

Start it, it runs for the 30 seconds or so it takes me to close the garage and get my helmet on, then go. No choke on my bike-I have EFI.

Drum brakes in 2017? With disc brakes in the parts bin, no less! Inexcusable! Fail.

Overpriced, overweight pig with styling that is purely form-over-function. Air-cooled, which is totally inexcusable on a $21,000 motorcycle. Fail.

My wife's tiny best friend has one...it fits her like it was custom-built, and she loves it.

The new Rebel 500 looks like the answer to a question nobody asked.

Re: This Week: 2016 Ducati Scrambler Sixty2 - VOTE NOW

It's a cool enough looking retro standard, but how much is it going to be? And is the only difference between this and the 800cc Scrambler the bore and stroke of the engine? 41hp doesn't sound like much if it's going to be pretty much the same weight as the bigger Duc Scrambler. Price is eight larg...

Re: This Week: 2016 Suzuki Hayabusa - VOTE NOW

This bike is one of the better arguments for tiered motorcycle licensing and a hard limit on power, displacement, and top speed. Why noy just buy a fifth of vodka, a bottle of sleeping pills, and some rx? At least that method of suicide would be cheaper.

I would like to see the naked version. I will say that my wife has a GT250 Comet and really likes it. Well I should take back my previous comment then. :o How long has she had it? How many miles? She has had it a few years now...I think about 25,000 miles total. Near as I can tell, it's pretty clos...

Not fully water-cooled.
Not smooth running.
Still uses the stuck-in-1930 separate primary chain.

Fail.

Re: 1998 BMW R1100RT vs 1999 Kawasaki Concours

My wife considered a Concours...her objections were no EFI (and 4 carbs to sync, ugh) and the fact that it is a HEAVY bike.
