I have done lane splitting a lot, mostly on FWY. I don't normally do lane splitting when I'm on local road or traffic light. I don't do lane splitting when traffic flow over 50mph unless the guy in front of me give me way to pass. I don't do lane splitting when there is no space available or when in...

Becuz ppl here is US drive like crazy, not fast but crazy. Passing both left and right, drive too slow in fast lane, cut off in front off other ppl. I prefer lane splitting over sandwitched by two cars. In Europe, they ride at pretty higher speed and report to be less accident than our big, great co...

[quote="JustJames" Experience riders are the one who want to become a safer rider not a faster rider. i have to disagree. just because you may want to go faster does not mean you are not experienced, it means you know your limits know and you hope to someday be quicker/better. if this statment were...

Oh I forgot to give you some comments  First of all, this is a full system exhaust, so you might need a re-jet but you have fuel injection system so I'm not really sure about that. RH look is about love it or hate it. I get mix comments on both side. The original sound is pretty deep, rumble d...

First of, the picture of RH 2 into 1 on my bike http://www.geocities.com/hoonnirun/RH.jpg Here sound clip of RH 2 into 1 with baf...

I don't say I'm an experience rider, just a season rider maybe. I'd say experience riders are the kind of riders who can handle any situation or emergency that might happen. They might be able to avoid all together and reduce the damage that might happen to themself or other. I don't care about how ...

If speed you are going too fast you might skid the front wheel when panic stop. Ride with fish tail better than front skid... I understand that the opposite is true. If you skid the front tire you can let off of it and regain control. If the rear skids you have to stay on it. If you let off the rea...

Virago engine proof to be a very reliable one. All V-Stars now also use the same engine. This has been in market very long time and very easy to find any parts when repair. But for you who's new to a motorcycle, do you plan to service/repair everything yourself? Getting 20 years old bike that requir...

Please be careful when you cover the front brake even on FWY on intersection. If speed you are going too fast you might skid the front wheel when panic stop. Ride with fish tail better than front skid, and with front brake cover you might not be able to swerv to avoid the accident. Also there will b...

I've done clutchless shifting all the time, I normally do this only for up-shifting and use clutch when down-shift and to stop. I got about 12,000 out of my OEM tires (bridgestone). When I replaced both I still have at least 30% of thread left. I replaced becuz I have a slow leak problem on my rear so I decided to go with Metzler from a better traction and control.

Re: considering quitting

If you don't enjoy what ever your doing, it's time to find something else. Life is too short to live in fear. I still feel fear everytime I have a ride trip to canyon or someplace i've never been to. I even have a nightmare about me falling off the cliff. But once I'm on the bike, I make myself fee...
