I've got leather and textile and I think for versatility you can't go wrong with textile. I wear the Tourmaster Jett jacket and it has a liner for warmth but I can take it out for warmer days. It's waterproof and windproof. It also has all kinds of reflecting patches and stripes on it which is HUGE ...

I have used helmet speakers in the past but now I use in ear speakers and have no problem hearing noises around me. I never wear them in town, usually only on long trips.

He wasn't surprised I had problems. BTW...my son was having issues with the disposible plugs too. Obviously we have the same shap...

Yeah, that's normal. No glove will keep your hands the perfect temp if it's actually cold out (40* ain't actually cold  ), even heated gloves will only keep your hands warm, leaving your fingers to feel the chill. I use snowmobile gloves when it gets down to 30-35* and the best you can hope fo...

I wear both, it depends on the weather. When the weather is not too cold I'll wear a textile jacket with chaps. I have a leather jacket too, but my textile jacket is just so warm AND waterproof I doubt I'll ever wear my leather. I also have armored pants, I just don't really like wearing them. My gl...
