Finally paid !

79 days later and I receive payment! At 75 days I sent in a complaint to the Alberta Insurance Council and got a call from a couple days later. I spoke with them for a couple minutes and they said they would call Jevco and inquire about the claim. The very next morning I got a call from Jevco saying...

Jevco Motorcycle Insurance Review

Jevco is based out of Montreal Quebec but is sold throughout Canada via brokers. This has been my experience with them so far. I bought a policy from Cedar Square Ins. in Medicine Hat, Ab. in April for my brand new 2009 Johnny Pag Spyder 300 which I picked up on April 7/09. The Ins. was reasonably p...

Re: Johnny Pag Spyder Owner

Welcome back....it's been a while and it's great to hear that you are still riding. No more VFR? I had to sell the VFR, the size of the bike got to me with the MS. The seat height was 32" and with my leg strength diminishing I couldn't push the bike back anymore :( My Spyder's seat is at 20" and is...

Spyder

For a small cc bike it is awesome for in town riding. I've only had it on the highway a few times and have not taken any long trips so I can't vouch for them yet with traveling. I installed a smaller sprocket, straight pipes and jetted it because it was way too quiet. I gets tons of looks and everyon...

Johnny Pag Spyder Owner

Hi all, I bought the Spyder 300 in Sept and love it. I had the tank & fenders custom painted after a mishap with a cab that cut me off. It went down hard and survived with only minor cosmetic damage. This is a great starter bike, I have MS and have reduced strength and this bike is so light and mana...

I'm back on two Wheels

Hello again everyone, a couple of years ago I sold my old 84 VF1000F Interceptor because of my MS. I thought my riding days were over but here I am.My health didn't get worse so I started hunting for a ride that suited my condition. Riding again is great, I thought about it everyday when I wasn't. M...

Oh man, I'm sorry to hear that. That's gotta be tough to go through. Hey, what kind of bike is that? Can't tell exactly from your avatar... I'm in Medicine Hat, looking for a new bike, and haven't decided on one yet. Maybe if you sell it to someone close by, you could still visit it once in a while...

I Tried But I'm Forced To Sell My Ride

Hi all, it has been quite some time since my last post. Some of you might remember me from last year. My Multiple Sclerosis has gotten to a point where I can't ride much, and when I do..... well I scared myself  . I wanted to thank all of you for the help in the past when I had a question or ...

Hi all, I posted a question in the for sale area about what I could get for my bike. It may have not been the right place to ask so could you check it out and let me know what you think.

Unfortunatly it's not the spark unit. I let it idle in the garage for 10 min and all pipes did get hot. I also took out the #2 and #1 plug and put it in the plug wire and turned it over. There was spark and the plugs didn't seem that bad. There was a little oil on the threads though. I'm leaning tow...

84 Vf1000f Power Loss When Warmed Up??

Hi all, I need a little help on this one before I start throwing parts at it. The bike is a 1984 VF1000F Interceptor with 45KM. The problem just started on a 2000 km trip I just took. What is happening is after the bike has been run for a while 5-30 min and I twist the throttle I get a throaty sound...

Ok this time I'm giving some notice that I'm coming to Calgary.

I'll be there Aug. 11-13 but am only free for the evening on the 11th. If any of you cowtown folks want to meet up it would be great.
