Yeah, i totally agree with 'Meanie' in his views, so far as that Terrie Shaivo really should be let die. I don't want to sound like an insensitive bastar-d here, but its people like that that really do put a strain on the medical system, and a drain on Government rescources. Wait, that IS unfair, th...

I glanced at the speedo, and we were doing a tick over 90. All of us Haha, nice. I remember being on the back of my dads BMW R1100S [red of course] and we were going down this straight that was totally deserted...so naturally he put on some speed. i had a look to the side of his head, and saw we we...

Legal Limit is....?
Hey everyone, just wondering what the legal speed limit is where-ever you are, sorta interested as to what it is in different countries (and states?). In New South Wales, Australia, the legal limit is just under 70 miles per hour on highways and freeways, and quite a lot of other places are 50 to 60...

Thanks for the feedback everyone, i've got a way better picture of why to stick to town now. And yeah, an MSF course is a must: 1> because i think its a good idea to get the basics right before you go out on your own, and 2> because i live in Australia, and its mandatory here. Anyways, thanks for yo...

Whats More Dangerous?
OK, heard a few times about people saying they are sticking to around town when they get their licence. In my experience, highways are usually long, straightish stretches of road with very gradual bends. I'm sure the potential for disaster is greater due to the higher speeds, but surely around town ...

that sort of stuff is really sad, especially when you look into the riders mentality. its always something along the line of ''i wanna be cool and have a really really fast bike!'' hahaha, how cool do they look in a hospital bed with various injuries, and a wrecked bike to boot? here in Australia, i...

yeah man, go the dino-burners! i say that when the day comes where we all have to buy something that uses alternative fuel, its also the day we start converting our rides to take ethanol, and producing some ourselves. not too hard, and certainly not too out there. but yeah, that bike does look schmi...

awesome work Joe! good to hear it, not too bad of a story at all... theres always something better about bike/car/whatever that you repair/modify/whatever yourself i think, even if it is only something that seems minor at the outset. pity about the title tho..i wonder if you could get it rego'd or s...

yeah, excellent idea. and one piece of mainstream advice: take everything slow. one mistake that a lot of people have is that they try and let the clutch out and change gears and everything too fast. just take your time, and get used to everything before you try and make a quick and snappy gear chan...

haha, our government must've thought of everything then. coz if there are belts in your bus, its against the law not to use them. oh and with the seat belts harming people, i'd say on thw whole they are a good thing. its the air bags you might wanna watch out for, especially if you have kids....

Is the helmet issue similar to the seatbelt issue? Should we have a law dictating our safety? The government already has preset rules for our saftey in all modes of transportation. Why are motorcycles considerd different? Here in Australia we have a law saying you gotta wear a helmet on a motorbike...
