The thought of having a car tire on my bike would freak me out, but check out this site and do a search on darksiding. It has been discussed in depth and there are some riders on the site who have actually done it. Most of which swear by the car tire. Good luck with whatever you decide. http://www.t...

I believe even with fuel injection you need some sort of fuel managment device, like a power commander or similar.

2002 shadow 600

Good afternoon, Quick question, my wife wants to start riding and we came accross a great deal on a 2002 shadow 600cc cruiser. We are in the process of buying the bike and I just have a few questions on it. I know it will be a good starter bike as it only has 38 hp, plus I took it out for a test rid...

Large group rides are some of the best times on two wheels, especially if everybody has a good time with it. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

I would go with leather myself, I wear a Carhart jacket during the winter months when I was in Pennsylvania and they are warm but they don't block the wind. I only paid $100 for my leather jacket and it works incredibly well. It is warm and blocks the wind. Also I found that wearing underarmour cold...

Also on a seperate note, If anybody makes it down around Savannah area be sure to check out Low Country Customs. They sell mostly custom made bikes from Big Dog to Bourget, but they are also a Victory dealer which is how I wound up there. I had the bike looked over and turns out I have two recalls t...

2001 Victory V92C

Ok, here it is. I have put 400 miles on the bike since I bought it on Friday. Keep in mind when reading this that I am a fairly new rider as I have only been on bikes for about two years now. The only other bikes I have ridden that I can compare this to are an 1984 Honda Magna V45, and a 2000 Harley...

Just because it's an older used bike doesn't make it a heap that will need to be repaired on a daily basis. I had an 84 magna that ran great, it had it's small problems but none that strapped me for cash. I would go with the older bike and take your chances, if it runs good now you just might not ev...
