I thank you all for your input but doing more research I found my engine has more power than alot of the newer bikes ...
I changed the paint and will mod the engine ...I like the nighthawk it's a well driven machine balanced and mean looking ...

I had some problems with my tac she just decided to stop working
my fuel guage and all other instruments still work , I don't know if it is a fuse or if it even runs by fuses.

Hi Gang well finally some riding weather .... I have a question for some mechanicaly inclined individual ....I recently noticed I have a poping noise every now and then from one of my carbs , any ideas what it could be ?? and how I can get rid of it ? also what kind of milage should I be getting fro...

I would like some info on chain driven bikes , mines a nighthawk do the chains have to be lubricated and what should I use if any.

What about additives for gas , are they good to use on your bike I'm talking carb cleaner and anything else that may be beneficial to the bikes performance.
also about the rank , how does your ranking increase is there something special I should be doing ??

Yeah for about a month and a half
and I live in the maritimes canada and the weather goes from cold to freezing to mild all in one day , I should have been born in California where it's warm and the beach isn't icy for 7 months of the yr

Thanks alot big dog I really appreciate the input there is a product that I use on my vehicle that armour all makes you spray it on after the cleaning and it act as a wax , repells water and the shine is impecable . Let me ask you another question if I may ? When I took my bike out a couple of days ...

well since buying the bike I've done alot of research and I have all these mixed messages . When I owned my bike years ago I just washed with a hose and some soap and warm water. Can I still do this all the things I've looked at are don't wash with a high pressure wash , that I can understand . But ...
