Topic: HALF, OPEN OR FULL HELMET FOR A CRUISER RIDER ?

I have two HJC helmets, on half, and one full face. I had bought the half last summer due to the heat, but have decided full face is the only way for me to go. I hate to say it, but it was Big Ben's accident that got me to thinking about my chin. (I wore it most of the time anyway) I agree with the ...

I love my Rebel, and commute on it to work. It's a great little bike, and will do 85 if needed, but it have any "go" after about 70. It's pretty peppy through 55 or so, and then it takes a bit of time to keep climbing. I often find it's my bike of choice when I'm going out on my own. It's ...

Have your grandson check out what deals they're giving the servicemen in Iraq. Harley is doing a great thing by offering steep discounts to those serving, maybe some of the others are too. If he could get a cheap ex250 or something over there, maybe he's settle for that bike to learn on, and then ge...

Depends on the day and the type of riding I'm doing. There are days I'm happy to just be out cruising around, and there are days that justify to me why I should never have a sport bike.

The following advice may depend on where you live, and your MSF provider. When I took the course, they provided helmets. Now, many may not want to use a helmet others have used, but it may save you some money at the moment. (wear a head covering under it) Depending on where you buy your bike, you ma...

I've had the opposite problem in TX. When I moved from FL, they automatically put my CDL on there, even though I didn't want it. The more money they can charge you, they will!

Add to the below that it's now reported Ben doesn't have a MC license. He had a learners permit that has expired. yeah it's a tough accident. and most of the reports are pretty vague on the details. - basically ben was going too fast - the car he hit either ran a red or was racing a yellow - ben hit...

Zoo, I think your situation now is a bit different. You're already a biker, you already have one and love it. Any woman who gets involved with you will know that up front. That wasn't the case here. It sounds like you are much better off without your ex, and you have a beautiful bike and 3 great kid...

This was crazy news, I wish him a speedy recovery. I read one site that made it sound like the woman driving was found to be at fault. The MSNBC website said that no charges have been filed. I’m sure it might take a little while on the paperwork, but I hope she is charged. If no charges are filed I...
