getting into this after the fact but from what I've read sounds like you have made a great investment. We have had two GS650's. One for myself and one for Kathy, Kathy's has the factory lowered frame. She loves the bike. We have been looking at others but thus far she keeps coming back to the 650. I...

Kathy and I have had modulators on our headlights and just put one our my new bike. Not sure why anyone would ride without them. A flashing light is much more attention getting than a solid light, which can easily blend into the background. Any device that allows us to "stand out" is worth...

The 1200gs handles just like a 650 on steroids. Love the bike, ABS is a real strong plus for me. Put in some PIAA (sp) headlights with a modulator, can't nobody say they don't see me coming. Actually had a couple cars pull over for us out on a county road. Looking forward to getting it out for a wee...

Hi: Kathy and I have only been riding for 8-9 months. After passing the msf course we had a Blast for a short period. Luckily for us got in touch with the right people who pointed us towards BMW for the kind of riding we wanted to do. We ended up getting a couple of 650gs bikes and have had a great ...

We traded in our first bike, a Buell Blast, on Kathy's 650. That was a very easy decision. Like night and day between those two bikes. I think we had the blast for about 4 months. She is real happy with the BMW. I am to, but I'm developing this itch. But for what it would cost, there is still alot o...

I was down at the BMW store with a remote thought of trading in my 650gs for a new 1200. When they told me what the 650 was worth I lost intrest, for the moment anyway. Sad part is they would turn around and sell my 650 for more than I paid for it probably. Had thought of donating the bike and takin...

HI: Please excuse my assumption that you are referring to A BMW F650 GS. If so, I am confused why anyone would want anything else. Kathy and I are new to this motorcycle thing and made a mistake of buying a Buell Blast (luckily only one) on which to get "more experience". Quickly, instantl...

I understand there is a good school in Atlanta, GA. Just north of Atlanta from what I have found out. Jerry the motorman what ever is in South FL somewhere. I don't have any experience with either of these programs. We have spent several hours with a retired motorcycle cop that runs classes in the S...

I'm up in Tillamook, OR now so who knows. C-sec's are becoming more popular even for women that don't need them but just want to beable to schedule the time of delivery.

I understand that Honda has a new model made just for those 6 month old bikers!!
