Day one over. Classroom over, and today's exercises ended with a couple of "box" run-throughs. My 6'3" 152lb frame dropped the bike twice. Everything is going fine but that. I was on the verge of tipping one of the instructors $100 to tutor me on it for an hour. I'm going to be pretty...

Tried to take the class this last weekend. Only made it through day one before I got WAY too sick to get up for day two (this was a two-day course, 7am-5pm). We went from (1) sitting on the bikes looking at where the controls were to (2) power-walking the bikes in 1st to (3) controlling speed with ...

I think Bonnies are the cleanest looking bikes in '05. I love the retro styling. You've got a great-looking ride.

Wow. Sounds like a good deal. I ended up parting with about $130. :frusty: If they do the job, though, I'll consider it money well spent.

Seconding pics of Ireland (and the bike). I've got a step-sister married to an Irishman outside of Cork. I've never seen the place, and I'd love some pics of some Irish scenery you encounter on your bike. Love the amount of European members.

Color me amped about the MSF course. This has been on the back burner for quite some time. Just got some over-the-ankle boots yesterday that I'm breaking in for the course, some Bates Enforcer CTS 2400's with Gore Tex.

I've noticed some people complain that certain pages will only run in IE. Users of Firefox should routinely check on extensions for the browser, which is why the browser in my opinion is superior. Fewer exploits for virus creators as well. One extension I have allows Firefox to open IE-only pages in...

A bunch of people at my firm ride harleys. Seems like a TON of bike. At least aesthetically speaking, I lean more toward Triumph Bonnies or Ducati Monsters, but I have yet to sit on one. I've got people telling me I'm going to need a rather large bike due to my height.
