Hmmm, when I asked the waitress she told us the patio was closed. I didn't see any other bikes when we got there. I was on a honda 599, and my gf on a 73 honda 450.

Oh well, next time I suppose.

Hey, just curious what time you guys stayed until at monny pennie's? My gf and I were running late and we stopped by there around 8 on our way out of calgary and the place was pretty empty looking. We would have come by earlier, but we were busy getting her '73 honda 450 ready for me to ride to our ...

Riding at or near GVWR

I have a honda 599, and have been taking my gf on in once in a while. I'd like it if we could do a longer trip when the weather warms up again. However, our combined weights with clothing/helmets etc are probably over 380lbs. The max weight capacity listed in the owners manual is 392lbs, so with the ...

I have a set of Michelin Pilot Roads on my bike and have been very happy with them. Good grip in dry and wet, excellent wear, price isn't tooooo terrible... I haven't tried the Pilot Road 2's but they should be even better.

Hmmm, I suppose it's possible, although the rear tire in that series does have a different tread pattern than the front, and I think this one was listed as a front tire as well. I'm thinking one might be an OEM model specific tire that some manufacturers request for their bikes.

Michelin Pilot Road "B" model?

Hello all, I'm purchasing a new front tire for my Honda 599, and I've decided to go with the original equipment Michelin Pilot Road as I'm quite satisfied with the grip and wear levels (24000km on the front and still not bald :P). However, I see that there is a listing for a 120/70ZR17 and a 120 ...

I filter once in a rare while, even though it is not legal here, but only if traffic is at a standstill and it looks like it will be a long wait. I've saved over half an hour of waiting with just a couple minutes of splitting at slow speeds. I keep the speed down to about 20-30km/h. I wouldn't do it ...

Just because you can do that with the bike, doesn't mean it's the best suited tool for the job. Afterall, you posted a pic a while back of a guy doing a river crossing on a gixxer. Most any bike can be taken off road, some are just better than others. The Weestrom, while being an adventure-esqe bike ...

I rode from calgary to medicine hat all the time earlier in the year, about 300km one way. The coldest I think was -7 celcius (about 19* Farenheit). The bike i was riding had some diy heated grips (which I might transfer to my 599), and I bundled up. The most important thing is you cover all skin ...
