...Of course they are more on the order of poster-children for mental retardation, but, to prove that point, they won't ever realize it, at least until they have a nice, multi-bone-busting, road-rashing crash, which they might survive, and the gf, dressed similarly, might not. Dummies all, to the l...

Yes you can push it and yes, you will fall (sometimes really hard :frusty: ), but like Buzzz said......

I totally agree...I think they are just too ignorant to realize that they are being total idiots! Also, I DONT think most of them can afford it...they just don't care to think ahead about the possible consequences.

I went to the Honda dealership yesterday to check out some rides and the employee that helped me out happened to be 19 years old and owned a 2003 600RR. He said he had a completely clear driving record and that his insurance for that bike was $122 a month. I think his nsurance was through Progressiv...

Good points about dirt riding....you do have a lot more freedom than on the street. But anyway, I would consider myself an experienced dirt rider....I tend to fly off 6 foot jumps and slide around turns at speeds probably faster than what I should, but I only ride like this because I know how. I don...

I took my dirtbikes out today and really paid attention to how much I countersteered and what everyone else is saying is true. If you are traveling at 15+ mph, it definately is much more effective...the funny thing was I never really thought about doing it, I just did. I guess subconciously it just ...

Re: Yamalube

So, a warranty wouldn't be screwed if I chose to use a different lubrication product?

Yamalube

I've heard time and time again that you should only use Yamalube products with any Yamaha vehicle. Why is this so? What makes these products so different?

Yessir, that question was for you. Thanks for the info. Wow, so it was 2400 a year to cover the bike?! That's like a slap in the face. Would an older model of the same bike lower the cost at all?

What bike did you get a quote for? And who was the insurance company? How old are you? And finally, have you had many tickets, or anything else that would reflect badly on your driving record? ...just curious.
