What pipes are on it? Perhaps you could order some aftermarket baffles?

Re: NorthernPetes Bike Adventure

I’m not overly worried since the area I am in has little to no cases of covid. The GS is in the shop getting a safety. I’m heading back to the USA next week for a few weeks to see the kids and mama. Then back to Canada for a quarantine and what not (I’m flying down) hope everyone is having a great s...

Re: NorthernPetes Bike Adventure

Whelp. I can’t cross back to the USA for the moment (had some misinformation from the border people but it is what it is now) so most of my belonging are in the states with my wife. One of those belongings is my motorcycle. So I just picked up a 2009 Suzuki gs500f. Gonna get it certified so i can do...

Re: NorthernPetes Bike Adventure

Ahhhh... updates and whatnot. I’m laid off due to covid 19 bull chit. But I’m making the most of it and it’s supposedly temporary so we do what we does. Got my bike up and running, some new Mac pipes on it (which failed at the welds after 2 hours on the bike) but they were replaced under warranty so...

Looks good. Great review. My Vulcan has Viking saddle bags, and they seem ok (even with scuffs from the PO doing a slow speed drop.)

We have been doing the camping with a mid 90s jayco pop up camper. It’s been a lot of fun.

Re: To Ride an Iron Horse - Jack of the Green's Blog

Sounds like a good time will be had. Enjoy Texas and hope your boy does well flying. Might want to consider some sea bands for him. I fly a couple times a month for work and when I started this (about 2 years ago) I found I got bad nausea from the bank turns near take off and landing and the sea ban...

Torc helmets

Anyone have any experience with this brand? Been seeing it listed a lot on my amazon feed. How do their modular helmets fit?

Re: 1988 vulcan

Regulator was replaced and seems to have fixed the issue. Took a 80 km round trip ride from the shop and had no issues (would have had issues on that length of ride previously.) so hopefully that’s it.

Re: NorthernPetes Bike Adventure

Well, got my bike back last week. Lol. So missed out on riding season pretty much. But it’s running. Bad voltage regulator seems to have been the issue.

Re: 1988 vulcan

I have no idea how long they ran it for, but it’s a small shop and I’ve been dealing with the owner and we’ve communicated that this is a problem that arises as it warms up. (Discovered the voltage drop after running prior to testing the stator so I’m going to say they’d run it long enough to get it...

Looking online it looks like brown/green could be turn signal related.
