Howdy from the Conejo Valley

Not new to motorcycling. Been wrenchin' & ridin' for a few decades. I'm addicted to motorcycles and in love with the Malibu Alps. No idea how many miles I've logged on 2 wheels. Currently own 11 bikes... some of them run. Time to throw a leg over the Z750S, eat a sumptuous meal, then... slow dan...

A healthy battery is required for the electrics to work properly. It not only displays the tail light while the engine isn't running but it powers the turn signals and the horn.
Many smaller bikes use the battery as something of a voltage regulator.

You have fuel delivery issues.
The engine is running lean.
Check for vacuum leaks.
Check the float level.
Clean ALL the jets including the needle jets.
Make certain all passageways are clear.
