The grip itself doesn't snap back, and it just continues to rev, i can probably just clean it up and have it fine. The other thing i'm wondering now...i was looking on ebay for a brake pedal, and the exact model of the bike is a 1992 ZX600-C5 Ninja R, I found a brake lever that says it's from 1992 K...

hey everyone, thanks a lot for the feedback. i'll definately pick up a basic maintenance book/manual. The repairs(more like lubing/cleaning) doesn't sound like too much work or money. Just gotta get the tires checked out to see if they're safe and have enough tred to make them safe to ride on. thank...
