still you should consider the type of driving skills you have. you may also consider the comfort of wearing it.

I think wearing a motorcycle sweater or jacket is more comfortable. thats the basic requirement for driving so you stay on the right track. jackets and sweatshirts are less expensive too.

Don't mind him. Everyone has their own style. Maybe it was also his way of driving away bad sprits on the motorcycle. But it sure is a worry to his safety.

if you so not like the mood of being in the group, you can explore motoring for your own sake and hobby. or maybe then you should find a group which accepts you personally.

you better visit a motorcycle shop to give you the right kind of tires. they know better which tires will fit your bike..
