When it gets really hot I switch to my mesh with the armour that works really well. I usually carry the liner in case it gets cool in the evening or I get caught in the rain.
Often wonder though just how effective the mesh with armour is, anyone know?

I like chaps, in fact, half the fun of riding is getting to wear all that leather

I know the feeling, there just seems to be that point of no return, and you're going down no matter what :( . I was sitting an talking on my bike, when I went to get off, I forgot I hadn't put the kickstand down. Minor scrape to my windshield (was my last bike) big dent in my ego, otherwise ok! :lau...

This ones got a few extras on it from the previous owner as well.

Now all I need is a dry day to do the test drive, I'm heading down with my neighbour as they've promised us a couple of bikes. Do you think a 5 hour test drive would be enough

Soon as we have a dry day, and I'm not working, I'll take it out for a test drive, I think it will be as great to drive as it looks.

Thanks for all the feedback!!!

03 Silver V-Rod

I wandered into my local HD Dealership yesterday, they've taken in a used 03 V-Rod and its too beautiful, Chrome and Brushed Aluminum, with a few extras the owner put on. They've told me to come in on the next dry day (been having monsoon rains around here) and take it for a test drive. It's in perf...

Actually I don't drive around fast etc., I love my bike for the way it handles, for the way it corners. I'm surrounded by mountains here, and it's the kind of riding we do. My husband has a Honda Shadow and is going to change, probably to a sport/tourer, it's just more suited to the kind of riding w...

Before I started to ride I thought I would like a nice Cruiser, but after learning and having the opportunity to ride a Sport Bike, I had a complete change of heart. There's nothing quite like a Sport Bike, it's just too much fun, though I would like a Sport/Tourer as a second bike for long trips!!!

I started with a 500 Buell Blast, I'm 5'6" so the height was great, I could put both feet flat on the ground. It's a great little single cylinder bike, had enough power to keep up with friends, but not enough to get me into trouble. I kept it a few months then traded it in (got back what I paid...
