Wow man. I bought a Corbin Stinger for my vstar in 2006 -- they shipped me a seat for a Classic and I have a Custom. They called the day it was delivered to say they made a mistake. No comp offered, just sent UPS to pick it up and delivered the Custom model a week later. But overall I was happy with...

I don't blame you.. I've got about 15 years on two wheels and gravel still terrifies me moreso than anything else on the road, even an 85 year old Alzheimers' patient at the wheel of a Mack truck. . . I've been incredibly lucky in my life. . .one of the ways is that I fortunatly have never gone down...

I went with Corbin; while the Mustangs tend to sit you a bit closer to the tank, Corbins tend to sit you a bit farther away and lower.

No knowledge of other brands. . .

Is it still the case where you have to remove the pipes to remove the oil filter? Been a long time since a I've looked at one. V-Stars were always a pain to work with compared to other bikes. I'm curious if they finally changed. Hmmm. I don't have much knowledge of early models -- mine's a 2005 and...

Most people on Vstars swear by thier 2 into 1 Cobras. They love those things and coupled with a modified intake and rejetting, produce a nice power boost. I've got Hard Krome strippers on mine -- sound great. Not the loudest thing out there. The guys I've ridden with who have the Cobras drown me out...

Why do OCC bikes make that noise?

Okay -- for someone more technically inclined than I: I used to like American Chopper (like a lot of other people) and as the years worn on, so did the show. Now it's more about them socially as opposed to the mechanix. But I digress. . . Over the years, on the occasion where I watch a bike finally ...

Haven't had any need to deal with Corbin following my purchase 2 years ago. Yes, it's a bit hard when you first get it, especially at the sides. But -- it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be (from reading reviews, I thought I'd be sitting on a cinder block). And, I'd say it took a good 2500km be...
