The Rebel 250 is tiny and asthmatic, any of those bikes will be far more capable. The S40 wakes up a LOT with an intake, exhaust, and rejet...otherwise they're very anemic, too. Lot of bikes aren't equipped with drain screws. You'll need to remove the forks are drain them upside down, or by removing the 6mm allen in the bottom of each.

You can reuse the A/F screws and their springs and washers, but you should install new o-rings. Try 2-1/2 turns out. Make sure the needles are in the right position, and don't have a stack of washers under them. Also double check your float heights. You should need a bit of choke when cold. No need ...

Stock jet sizes? Why 3.5 turns out on the A/F screws? Seems excessive, like pilots too small. How does it behave on choke?

Custom chopper...so, what...Big Dog? Is it Harley based? S&S? Have you inspected the primary? Did the belt/chain come off? Is your clutch no longer disengaging (hung up)? Is it hydraulic or cable operated?
