Crash, boom, bang...

Ever noticed that you tend to crash when you are doing something silly? I had finished delivering my mail today and was off to a shady spot for a bit of a rest before I went back to the delivery centre. There is a nice bit of new hotmix bitumen to play with on the way so I was working on grinding of...

Haha, that is what I do for a living.
Discount the (to name a few) moron drivers, dangerous dogs and swarms of bees trying their best to kill you, it is a real blast.

I pulled all the PAIR crap off my Bandit and it made no noticeable difference to performance. This is everything that came off: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v392/mintbread1/P6022081.jpg With the airbox still in place there is no need to touch the crankcase breather as it runs through the airbox...

I think it is more an evening-out of temperatures. The winters aren't as cold as they used to be and the summers are nowhere near as hot.

Eventually we will end up with perfect riding weather of about 25c all year round.

You are making a lot of assumptions there. Perhaps that guy on the gixxer has had crap bikes for his entire riding life and has saved and saved to buy his dream bike. Now he rides it with utmost care for fear of losing it. Maybe the guy on the big cruiser was sick of being beaten by every bike that ...

I chopped about a third off my can and it made a small difference to the volume but overall it just sounds deeper.
Cutting it will not affect engine performance as by the time the gases reach the muffler they are just trying to exit.

Typically the bike will come from factory with the optimum jets for the factory set up. Hmm, it is all about emission standards these days. So leaning an engine out to get around these standards is a common tactic. I doubt that many bikes hit the showroom floors with a fuel set-up anywhere near per...

Banner Ads

I come here for bike related info, not EPILEPSY.

What is the caper adding bright, flashing banners to the top of every page? It makes posting almost unbearable.
