Well, it seems to have had everyone baffled. The whole problem was the lack of a fine adjusting to the carbs fuel air mixture. ( I was told I was all set with that). I found that if I left the choke at 1/2 and feathered the throttle once the bike was hot, I could get her moving. Just imagine how lif...

making progress
I don't have much time, I've found that if the bike is fully warmed up I need to feather the throttle to keep it going. I think the idle screw idea is the best. It seems as though we arn't getting enough fuel. I think I had it backwards! All I need to do now is to find the time. T.

Air Filter
Yea, the filter is clean. I was just trying it again. It is so strange. It seems as though I'm flooding it out, it bogs down. But if it were so, I wouldn't be able to start it right up again. It starts strong I just can't bring down the choke or give it any fuel without the bogging down. T.

Choke prob?
Hi all, I'm trying to sell my 86 Virago 750. It cold or hot starts fine. I can bring down the choke only 1/2 way down. Any further and she dies out. I cannot give her any throttle.....maybe a little if I feather it. I have had the carb replaced and supposedly it is ok. Any ideas? :frusty: Thanks for...
