Have you taken a beginner riding class like the MSF? Even though those are smaller bikes than you would probably buy for yourself, maybe it would give you a chance to see how comfortable you are on a bike. I hadn't ridden since I was a kid before taking the class, but since I was so comfortable on ...

Thanks everyone! I've been riding for about a month now and completely agree with putput, it doesn't seem nearly as windy on the freeway as it did in the beginning, and I'm really starting to like the feel of it! I'm still probably going to get a removeable one for long rides and night riding; those ...

I wish I had that kinda luck...the numbers game started with gear included (they kinda forced me into it), and by the time we came to a number we all agreed on, the gear was suddenly not included...however I didn't know that until I was walking out the door with keys in hand and I said I had to go ...

Western Washington rides
Ok, so I'm somewhat embarrassed to say that even after growing up in western Washington, I am having a hard time thinking of some good rides out here . Since this is the first time I've owned a bike, I've never looked at this area with that perspective. I know there have got to be some great ...

Thanks for all the compliments everyone! Zoo, your dads bike looks great, it has everything on it that I want...someday anyway! :D And yes, I will also be getting a different seat for all those long rides I know I'll be taking. I've checked out the Volusia website before, thats the bike I wanted to ...
