Ok, there's a reason why I put quotations around the word "truths"... maybe i simply used the wrong verbage, but i was hoping that you all know what i meant. The point is, that if someone is convinced of something for whatever reason (first hand experience or witnessing, spiritual feeling, brainwash...

Awesome... I keep hearing good stuff about the bike... Hopefully next year, my financial situation will let me grab one up... sounds like I should shoot for the '05 model... Have you had any problems regarding the fuel injection system? That's the only negative thing I've read about them in reviews/...

I Love the FZ6! I have been researching it and looking at all the comparisons in it's class for a few weeks now... I;m pretty set on getting one late next year.. IMO, it looks better than any of the others in it's class, especially w/ the under-seat exhaust... I went and looked at the suzuki sv650, ...

Well, I'm not going to get into the huge debate like you guys have... I've been down that road many times with many different people, and I've come to find that anyone can become extremely defensive when confronted with an opinion contrary to theirs on the subject of religion, faith, personal belief...

Not everyone makes a ton of cash... 50 cent per gallon is alot. Especially to some people. I am ok now $-wise, and i can pretty much afford it, but i'll never forget where I came from... Zoo Tech is my bud on this forum, but I'll have to pretty much disagree with most of the stuff he said on this th...

Of course, this poll isn't to force others to wear what you think is right, or to make judgement on what others wear... Basically, I'd like to know what everybody uses and why. Also, there are different laws regarding helmets in different states and people take advantage of that, which is cool if th...

I just began my venture into riding, but I can say that I don't think I'll ever wear anything less than a Full Face.. for obvious reasons.... I find them to be just as comfortable and the protection factor is invaluable.

But there is also the issue of personal freedom, which is a major factor in the philosiphy of motorcycling.

Good post.

Overall, I look at the situation as a positive.

Hopefully, your friend can make a recovery and enjoy riding again. I'm sure something like that can be very discouraging, but if somebody really loves something, they'll be itching to get back to it right away.

I bought my first bike a little over a month ago.... it's a 2003 shadow 600. I got it for $3,900 w/3800 miles on it. -- I am very comfortable on it and it's been fun learning on.. it goes on the highway no problem... it isn't the fastest 600 out there but it gets the job done, plus I like it's looks...
