£12.50 per wheel sand blasting, then £12.50 per wheel for the powder coating, although that price will be dependant on the final colour/finish chosen - about £50 all in for both wheels

Hmmm kwaka green... not sure, as it throws up the same spick and span cleaning issues as the yellow

Keep the opinions coming though folks as if yellow/greens seem to be the best choice I'll just have to bite the bullet and wash 'em every darn ride

Thats really good to know. I can cope with a little mesh burn if need be! How fast do you think you were going?

Well, I purchased said jacket today and wore it home - what a difference. Stopping at lights isn't much different, but even in a T-shirt you'll be hot at the lights - but once you are moving, what relief! I can see me wearing a bikini top under that one

Even in the UK we are having average temps of 35C (95F) in the shade, not sure what that equates to in the sun - all I know is that its meltingly hot ;) So much so I'm picking a mesh jacket up tomorrow.

Today, we had a mean temp of 30C in the shade with humidity of 91%

 We are having an absolute heatwave at the moment! 40/50C + easily in the sun. No fun when out and about during the day. :)

I'm after this one: http://www.frank-thomas.co.uk/index.php ... duct_id=43

Mesh Armoured Jackets

Does anybody here use these? Can they recommend them? I've tried one on and its comfortable enough, but as they are made of cordura type nylon I'm wondering how sweaty you get in them when stood still  I'm guessing they are great when on the move, or maybe not? :?
