Hi,
my brother has just moved to Jo'burg.

I was there at Easter and saw a few bikes around but he is bit worried about being bike jacked or mugged. What's the reality?

His commute is dodo in the mornings and bike would sort him out nicely.

Hi all
I'm new to the groups and pretty new to biking. Got my license at the end of May and Suzuki Bandit two weeks ago.

Although I'm English I live in Paris, so if you ride around here give me a shout. Always up for meeting some new people and going for a ride.

Hey, go for it then and do the CBT on the bigger bike - then you have the choice. I'm 31 and have ridden a 125 in Paris for a year (only a car license needed here).

It took me three trips back to the UK to do the full license - (CBT, theory&hazard perception, training and final test).

I found the DVLA website very confusing but speaking to a bike school and then (doing the training) finally got my full license.

Here is how I see it.
You need to do a CBT.
You also need to do a full Bike Test (Theory and Practical) (there is never an automatic upgrade). I think the two ...
