AdrianZ, Ive owned a gsf400 for 4 months now as my first bike.

I really enjoy the ride, with a very high revving motor and the sound and feel that comes with it, add aftermarket pipes and a good tuning and it will sound absolutely evil and turn heads and have people spying out their curtains ...

Id say "Biker Mice from Mars" from the 90's was the worst bike orientated cartoon ever.

There are still quite a few late 80's to mid 90's gixxers around in S.A and Im sure there is one just like that is normally parked off a main road I travel.
I must admit its narrow and low ...

Ive done 2600km's since getting my bike in July, but I thankfully don't have to commute to the city centre and back for my job.
I should be doing my first long journey in December, although it's only a 1000km round trip so im sure thats not long to some riders and I can't wait.

Solo - I haven't been riding very long and don't have any 2-up experiences besides on my 400 bandit but if the pillion weighs over 70kg's (ie. most men I know) the bike feels and eats fuel like a slug although the bike has 60hp.

Im sure it could be better with a 600cc+ bike, I really enjoy sharing ...
