Have just gotten a 1977 gl1000(goldwing) and am interested in getting collector plates for it if I can. Anyone on here from BC have collector plates. Had to walk away from my 83 nighthawk due to expensive repairs(sob ) but am currently looking at another bike a 86 yamaha yx radian. Any one have an opinion or own said bike. Would appreciate any input.

Kawasaki triples
My Honda cb650sc is in the shop and may be toast. I have been offered a pair of Kaw. 750 triples for a good price(their 76s) and am told they are in good shape. Any one have any info or opinions on these bikes. Ease of service, availability of parts etc. Any info appreciated.

Ya you have your power wire connected to the running lights. Need to switch the wire over to the signal light wire. Put a meter on the wires left over from your conversion. Turn on the signal lights and see which one blinks. Thats the one ya want. Easy to do when going from 3 wire connection to a 2 ...

rpms
4500 to 5000 rpms and up is the area the bike has quickest reponse. But I only use that range for getting up to speed, then I generally shift to a higher gear and lower rpms. It makes a difference in the mpg. and I can easily shift down for passing. I wouldn't suggest going much below 3000 to 3500 i...
