Totally within spec for companies to build a vehicle with a speedo error up to 10%.

The VTX's are notoriously known for a high (close to 9 or 10%) speedo error stock. SO when I say i've done 132mph indicated, I was most likely doing closer to 119mph actual...(My VTX has a 135 actual top speed ...

The correct terminology would be ridng pillion.

Why are you guys so insecure about riding pillion? I ride pillion (no not the bit{h pad. Calling it that shows no respect for your partner)) frequently. Sometimes it's nice for a change to look at the world go by.

What is it you are afraid ...

No "elite hog enthusiast" I've ever met would be caught dead on a non-HD, let alone a sportbike!

Maybe the writer of the article just thought ...

Eh, why bother. Its illegal in 49 states, only pisses drivers off (leading to increased road rage), and puts you in danger of being hit by an unaware driver as well.

Unless there is serious traffic, and I'm turning right there (off the road to my destination), I don't even bother risking it.

Just ...

Yeah it is kinda a joke...I'm merely stating that the Raider's style is a very obviously an echo from the cruiser styles of the 80's (and other bikes beside the VLX)... notice the similiar rake, the similiar downward angle of the frame/tank, and the familiar bobbed fender at the rear... about the ...

True, but you certainly don't need to wring out the engine, as it sounds this guy (in original post) is doing.

For that slow speed stuff you certainly ...

Why stop with only motorcycles?

www.rotten.com

I've seen everything there from helicopter decapitations to weight lifters who crapped out their intestines.

Those pictures sure do make me want to drive a bit safer though.
