Riding low (fork problems)

My front forks are riding pretty low. Is this generally an indication that they are running low on fork oil? 'Cause I know I have a slow leak (even after they were resealed).

Well I took the battery to Napa Auto Parts and had it load tested and it showed 12 volts normally and 7 volts under a load, so the battery isn't the problem. He said it had a pretty full charge too, but when I reinstalled it, the engine is still cranking over pretty slow. Is this the sign of a bad s...

Is my battery dead? Is my charging system fried?

I left my motorcycle for a little over a month (with gas stabilizer in it) and got back to find the cycle with starting problems. It wasn't starting after lots of turning over. Well I jumped it with a friend's car and all was well. I went to a couple places and it started up fine afterward, but then...

What about this chain here: I found out my chain is a 530 o-ring 102 link.

Thanks for the advice. I'm shopping online for aftermarket chains that run $40-$100. The $400 chain was if I were to order an original manufacturer part direct from kawasaki, but that is obviously not going to happen.

I Need a New Chain

Well, my chain has died: It came off the rear sprocket while I was riding down my street. I found out why: one of the links was bent out of shape-don't know how, but it is old, so that probably had something to do with it. Anyway, so I need a new chain. The OEM chain is $400, so I'm looking at after...

Seems to me like one of those freak accidents where a bunch of little things add up to one big mess. If any little detail were altered, it would have been prevented. That's a major bummer.

Leaky Forks

I pulled my front forks off my bike because they leak oil, and I don't have the right tools to take the forks apart. I called the dealership and they said it'd be $180 for the labor if I brought the forks in. Does this seem reasonable? How much should I pay?
