even more importantly this scenario highlights the true hidden danger of riding...none of us know when something unexpectedly is going to occur.. whether it's a quick jaunt to the 7-11 or a long distance journey. Had he just analyzed the situation before going around the car....maybe he'd be okay.

Hello from the far east..currently on a Honda 125 as its the main mode of transportation in thailand as well as yamaha, suzuki and kawasaki. Too bad many of the bikes here are unavailable in the US market.

Take the MSF course first, without question. You have alot to learn and need practice and will be taught properly. The honda is a great first bike. At least get a helmet too. I understand being on a tight budget but don't discount your health,please.
