It would have to be my Mustang wide touring seat with backrest, and the Alaskan sheepskin pad, and my radar detector,and my..... i couldn't live without anything i put on my bike or it wouldn't be there.

Hey there, i ride a vstar 1100 also and my bike makes that noise every time i turn the key on, or use the kill switch, that sound is the starter. The noise is suppose to be there, as for not starting i don't no. Silly question, but is the gas turned on ??

Get him to ride it over the border and meet him, go to the nearest insurance place transfer it into your name and ride it home. Just anothere thought .

I paid for the shipping in the price, when i went to pick it up at the local post office i was told i owe another $54.85.
