If you think the er-6n, the gladius, the verasys, the fz6, or a ninja 650r are hunched or bent over, it's because you've never sat on one or seen it in person. Or you're very short. They're all really upright and don't have you leaning over - half of those have moto-cross bars on them for pete's sa...

wow, my Aikido Sensei would beat my "O Ring" into a fine mist if he saw me showing off budo gear on the internet! If you truly understood this stuff, you wouldn't need to pose... don't mean to offend, I just don't understand! Still OT: My Sensei wouldn't ever get upset if he saw me posing with prop...

That's a samurai sword and the knife is a tool that came in handy for my trip in New Hampshire in case I broke down. I train in various forms of martial arts and thought it looked pretty nice to get a pic with me equipped. I transport a Shaolin Broadsword back and forth to class. wow, my Aikido Sen...

Re: Is there a bike out with a mix of cruiser and sport bike

You don't notice the looks when you're riding it, y'know..... You may not notice your shirt is inside out, you have toilet paper stuck to your shoe and mustard on your face, but you'd still look pretty ridiculous;) I'm not saying the Strom is ugly, I used to think so, but as I realized the beauty i...

State Farm does most of their calculations by engine displacement. The smaller the engine, the less you pay. State Farm was about $800 a year cheaper for motorcycle insurance for me than Progressive or Geico. I have a special deal for state employees for a different insurance company so I am even c...

Pretty high, but you also get free health care when you fall off the bike. Well, I do spend more than 2 grand a month on taxes plus $55/mnth on healthcare premiums(not to mention my extended healthcare costs), so I don't know about free. So theres the dilemma, i don't get my money's worth unless I ...

for my scrambler, with 10 years perfect driving record and nearly maxed out on the discounts, I'm paying $1800/year with no collision insurance. And another $1800 for my 4 dr sedan!

At least the weather's nice.

This has been done, it's called Scientology... tax exempt. and it's considered a dangerous cult in several countries, and is banned! But America seems to honor their fabricated tax exemption needs!

Wow I love the pipes on that bike, is there any increased chance someone would burn themselves though? No. they are really well shielded, I think they are triple walled. I barely notice the heat through my jeans... and my leg is in constant contact with the pipes. you could ride in shorts and not b...

Thanks! I made it out a few times on the weekend. The bike handles great, There are some really nasty dirt/gravel potholed alleys around here, and it handles them like a champ! Jstark totally, I've been doing that when I pass pedestrians. It's quite a contrast in volume when you give it a twist. Bet...

brought it home yesterday, this thing is lots of fun. pipes sound great, but I'm a little worried I'm pissing off the neighbors when I warm it up!

It's a leftover '07 model triumph scrambler 900... w/the TOR pipes.

Stupid law, probably will pass, but a bad idea. I never seen anyone do a wheelie on a public streets with people around. And, I never seen someone clocking past a 100 on anything but utterly empty freeway at night. So, the law should be subject to the totality of the circumstances. If the rider is ...

No way, this is America, for god sakes, and I want my freedom. In fact, I do not like the fact that I have to get any sort of license what so ever. UK generally sucks in all things related to automotive laws, and they suck in this respect as well. I like people getting R1s as their first bike and k...

I missed the Triumph booth, must of been hidden. In the USA Triumph doesn't do shows. I assume the same is true for Canada. It's been this way for several years now. They seem to sell all the bikes they care to make (had to open the second assembly facility in Thailand too), so I guess the strategy...
