Get a Buell, I own a XB9s so i guess im biased, but its still a great bike, very easy upkeep, never have to do valve adjustments, pretty much just change the engine and primary oil and filter.

If given only a choice between a twin and huge inline 4, id go with the twin anyday, 90% of riding is at speeds below 80mph so the touqe of a twin is more usable then top speed of a I4, and personaly believe makes for better riding. Buy goggles, chapparral has some for between $20 and $30, and the straps come off of some so you can put regular temples on them so you wan wear some of them like sunglasses.
