I just sold the Drifter, kind of a neat bike but real funky to ride...

Welcome. Good to hear you are back on the streets. I have been riding for over 32 years (and dirt bikes etc even longer, before there was dirt)! and sure couldnt see being away from it. Ride safe.

Be forewarned that Deer are our ENEMY! In Manitoba and Ontario the deer popultion is out of control. I have had several near misses close to the Manitoba / Ontario border and they where in the middle of the day! Enjoy your trip, ride safe.

Thanks for the comments. This is my first Triumph build (my last also). Like to build around old ironheads but figured I would give a Triumph a try. Thats pretty much my style though, clean, simple and mechanical. Thanks again..
