Re: The Blog of Blues
Painting, drywall work, mudding, sanding.... It's a Lot of work. The overhead stuff killed me back when my shoulder didn't suck so much. I'd need to get creative and put on my McGuyver hat now. Been through some life myself since I was last on. Still riding, currently a burgman 650 that I absolutely...

Re: New, looking for 1st bike, how are these
Keep your eye open for used maxi scoots. I would say in the 300-500cc range. My current ride is a 2007 burgman 650. got it with 6k miles on it. 2500. It's a hoot to toss into corners. You can fit 4500 cubic tons of groceries on it. keeps the wet off of you. Decent gas mileage. has a center stand. Yo...

Re: Hello, I'm Cheri. I'm a novice rider.
Congrats on keeping plugging! Bikes are sleepy things, they want to nap at the dangdest times. Awesome on finding a supportive group with experienced riders to keep an eye on you. Don't worry about riding your own ride. Go the speed you feel comfy right and appropriate. That'll chap some peoples "O ...

Not to start a political gnawing or anything... But I don't vote. Not because I don't want to and don't appreciate the privilege. But because I don't think I've ever believed anything that's ever come out of a politicians mouth.

Re: Do you ride in the rain? At night?
About the only thing I won't venture out on is ice and snow.
And that's not because I don't want to. I'm just too lazy to pick my big fat cruiser up off of the ground 7-8 times.

Re: Stupid fat feet
They were slick when I got them way back when. Just an extra dose of the slick new tire syndrome. They've performed well after being scrubbed in.

Re: Stupid fat feet
Yeah the current 404 on there has done absolutely fine. The MT66 up front showed up slick as snot though. I locked up the front twice within the first mile. I don't go fast most of the time. Just aint that much into haulin "O Ring" generally. I think I've got 7-8k on the 404, and probably 5-...

Re: Stupid fat feet
I do have a little aside to wrider though. My tires are about shot. I've got a 404 on the rear and a mt66 on the front. They both seem to do just fine handling wise. I'm even out to the edge of the 66. The 404 has like an inch of tread that never gets touched. Even on WV roads. My feet and then boar...

Welcome back! Your work stories are so very interesting, they are overbearing on the actual subject of the topic. I have big feet for a woman so that deters me from buying awesomely sexy shoes that are on sale (they never fit) but thankfully I don't have any problems with fitting my fe...

Re: Stupid fat feet
Well, I wouldn't wanna mosey upstairs and talk to one of the psychologists. Let's just put it that way. Few weeks ago IT was having a NIGHTMARE day, and it just happened to be a really intense thunderstorm outside. One of the commitment folks wandered in, like he does every so often, to shoot the "p...

Re: Stupid fat feet
oh just going back and forth in the world and up and down in it. insane work schedule, lots of school. im smack in the middle of a ground up network rebuild, even down to the cabling, as well as a transition to a brand new records/emr/hr/financial system. basically anything that can change...
